Fall Workshop

Join us for an amazing time of musical learning with nationally-known Suzuki instructors in beautiful Hickory, NC.

BASIC INFORMATION

What is Workshop?

Fall workshop is a great event to help motivate students to further their music education.  We invite master teachers from the US to come and work with students of all ages in master class and group class formats

 

What is a Master Class?

A master class is usually an hour long with 4 students each taking individual lessons with the teacher. Students benefit from one on one time with the teacher and watching lessons of other students at a similar performing level.

 

What is a Group Class?

A Group Class has 10-15 students of similar age and performance ability. The teacher will play games that test students abilities and they are a lot of fun.

What is the Schedule?
Friday
  • 1pm-5pm- Master classes start.  You will receive a 1 hour master class with other students based on your age and Suzuki piece. 

  • 5pm-Pizza Dinner on site ($7 per person)

  • 6pm-Faculty recital that leads directly into a play in

 

Saturday
  • 9am-12pm- Morning Group classes (1 hour each) and electives

  • 12pm-Lunch on your own

  • 1pm-4pm- Afternoon Group classes (1 hour each) and electives

  • 4:00pm- concert

  • Everything should be done by 6:30pm

Registration

  • Full Workshop $85

  • Saturday Only Workshop $65

  • Master Class Only Workshop $30

  • Observer/Teacher Lunch $20​​

  • Creative Ability Development

  • Electric Instruments

  • Drumming

T Shirts $15 each

 

Discounts

There will be a $10 discount for each sibling that attends workshop*. (1st student is full price)

 

*Master class only and observer/teacher lunch registration does not have  Multiple student discount option.
