A Message from our Board President

Dear Students and Families, As you may know, Nan and Gene both tested positive for covid-19. Nan was treated in hospital and sent home to rest. Gene is still in the hospital. Will and Tenley say they do not need food or anything at this time, but would appreciate your prayers and positive thoughts. Nan is very sad about having to cancel lessons while she is sick. She wants you to know that she loves and misses each of you. She also asks that you keep practicing and suggests that you send her a video of the piece you are currently playing or anything else you would like to share with her. She would love to hear from each and every one of you. The coronavirus is a terrible and serious disease. We all wish Nan and Gene a speedy and complete recovery. We will notify everyone when Nan is well enough to resume lessons. Of course, she will make up all missed lessons. Meanwhile, stay safe and keep practicing. Yours, Pat Payne President, SSA Administrative Board

Kid’s Fun

CIRCLE ROUND - Start on one side of a chair or piece of furniture. Play a piece and go to the next side. If the piece is terrific you can advance to the next side, if not, you should go back a step. With each well played piece, you go around to another side of the furniture. The object is to get back to the starting point.
